McCarran Terminal 3, also known as “T3”, is the latest and most-comprehensive expansion in the 64 year history of the McCarran International Airport. With 1.9 million square feet divided over three levels, T3 is a massive facility.  According to Perini Building Company, SUPERIOR was awarded this project due to its experience constructing airports, its portfolio of multimillion dollar projects, and its substantial bonding capacity.  Built according to the FAA’s detailed requirements and Bechtel’s rigorous inspection process, Superior installed over 200,000 SF of tile and stone including 22,000 LF of decorative metal, 58,000 SF of large format porcelain tile, 100,000 SF of 4 ¼” wall tile and 35,000 SF of quarry tile.  SUPERIOR completed this work in less than one year. The terminal opened to the public on June 27, 2012.
