Superior’s work on the exterior of SUU’s Shakespeare Theatre consisted of 15,050 sf of bush hammered granite, 2,036 sf of 6″ thick cubic granite, and 1750 sf of mechanically-anchored granite. On the interior Superior installed 18,715 sf of porcelain and glass tile in public restrooms and performer locker rooms.
Superior’s work at SUU also included soft flooring products. Superior installed 1,780 square yards of carpet, 8,645 sf of maple hardwood, 12,836 sf of stage flooring and luxury vinyl tile throughout the facility.
Despite exceptionally harsh weather, Superior completed the job on schedule and on budget. The university is extremely pleased with the finished product, and has contracted directly with Superior for the supply and installation of additional granite walls. The new walls will be installed the spring of 2017.
